Works and road closure on Mickle Hill 1 March 2024

Road works including carriageway patching are to be carried out on 1 March 2024 on Mickle Hill in Keyston. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs.

Cambridgeshire County Council has issued a Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order (2024-258) to stop traffic from proceeding along Mickle Hill as lies between Cherry Hill Farm and the B663 on the date in question.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Bythorn Road, Covington - Keyston Road - Covington Road - B645 - Church Road, Hargrave - Church Street - Raunds Road - Hargrave Road, Raunds - B663 and vice versa.

The Order shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and

Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
